Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist, located in Monroe, NC. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement therapy programs aimed at improving patients’ functionality and independence. Responsibilities include working with pediatric clients to develop and enhance skills such as motor coordination, sensory processing, and daily living activities. Collaboration with families and other healthcare professionals is integral to creating individualized care plans that promote the well-being and development of patients.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Pediatrics
• Understanding of medical concepts related to patient care and treatment in a therapeutic setting
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with families and healthcare professionals
• Passion for working with children and fostering their growth and abilities
• State licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina is required
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
• Experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred
