Your Impact in This Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Shift Supervisor to lead our production operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure safety, efficiency, and quality across the production floor. You'll be instrumental in supervising personnel, managing equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
As a Shift Supervisor, Your Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To :
Team Leadership & Training : Train and supervise production staff, enforce policies, manage schedules, and promote a positive work culture.
Safety & Compliance : Uphold safety standards (LOTO, PPE, machine guarding), enforce procedures, and report incidents promptly.
Production Oversight : Monitor workflow, adjust line speeds, ensure material availability, and meet daily production goals.
Quality & Maintenance : Oversee quality checks, maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support lean initiatives.
Communication & Coordination : Facilitate shift handovers, attend production meetings, and ensure clear communication across teams.
Equipment Operation : Operate forklifts, loaders, and other machinery as needed; assist with line setup and troubleshooting.
What You Bring to the Table
High School diploma / GED required; college degree preferred
25+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of plant operations
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
Ability to train, lead, and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and quality control processes
Forklift and heavy equipment operation experience
Glass processing knowledge is a plus

Proven success in driving operational and cultural improvements
810 years of leadership experience across production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and compliance
Strong technical background with experience in capital equipment, automation, and process improvement
Ability to develop strategic plans, implement lean initiatives, and manage cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Leadership competencies : integrity, accountability, team building, and results orientation

Mobility : Bending, Standing, Walking, Sitting, Climbing
Articulation : Lifting / Carrying, Reaching, Grasping, Repetitive Movements
Working Conditions :
Exposure to dusty and noisy conditions periodically
