Operations Manager
Fluke is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our Americas Fulfillment Center. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 60 individuals, including direct reports of 2 front line managers and 1 business systems analyst. The Operations Manager will ensure the efficient and effective operation of the fulfillment center, optimizing processes to meet service level agreements and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership : Manage and motivate a team of fulfillment associates, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Inventory Control : Oversee the receiving, storage, and management of inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and minimizing stock discrepancies.
- Order Processing : Monitor the order fulfillment process from receiving customer orders to picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring timely and accurate order completion.
- Operational Efficiency : Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations, including workflow improvements, space utilization, and process automation.
- Quality Assurance : Implement quality control measures to prevent errors during picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Performance Metrics : Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like order accuracy, shipping time, and productivity to identify areas for improvement.
- Cost Management : Manage warehouse expenses including labor costs, shipping costs, and inventory carrying costs.
- Technology Utilization : Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.
- Compliance : Ensure adherence to safety regulations, shipping guidelines, and other relevant compliance standards.
