Job Summary :
The Planner / Scheduler is required to create and manage all aspects of maintenance of equipment in our contract. Planning, implementation, documentation, and follow-up of all tasks required for a building-based maintenance team. This includes interpretation of data from the CMMS work order system; The Planner / Scheduler is required to have necessary skills to communicate with department representatives, and all internal and external customers.
Job Description :
- Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.
- Advises Management of potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
- Generates Work Orders based on a master production schedule.
- Ensure Work Orders correspond to their perspective production schedules.
- Works in conjunction with Contract to Review Contract Mods and notate assets in the MAXIMO system to correlate with the modification (Add, Remove, or Clarified).
- Generate monthly deliverable schedules and reports.
- Request and track CAC Cards.
- Track and manage Customer Information Reports (CIR's) Which is an everyday process working with Internal and External customers ensure everyone is aware of downtime and does Maximo's need updated.
- Project lead for data inputs into the centralized maintenance management system (CMMS) for Utilities Assets and update Facilities for Government MAXIMO software applications dealing with all Asset Maintenance.
- Maintains the Asset Management in JBOS preventive maintenance database inventory and assets, determine PM frequencies, and assignment of job plans.
- Develops, initiates, maintains, and provides both regular and ad hoc reports from MAXIMO.
- Point of contact for customer and internal inquiries and status requests regarding Work Orders.
- Track Warranty Information, Create Proactive and Predictive PM, Generate calls in color code system. Track ICAP / UICAP w / Deliverables and Reports. Learn the Contract and verbiage.
- Performs other duties as requested.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or related field.Eight (8) years of work-related experience within the related field.MAXIMO experience is required.Other Requirements :
Expert computer and software skills to include the use of Word Processing, Email, Intermediate Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to work independently.Effective oral and written communication skills.Ability to work in a time conscious and time efficient manner.High attention to detail.Solid critical thinking and reasoning ability.Work Environment :
Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment with standard office equipment and tasks. Work requires daily interaction with dispatchers, technicians, and other personnel to manage the creation and distribution of work orders as well as the review and filing of completed work orders.
Physical Demands :
Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.Normal vision, hearing, and manual dexterity required for office tasks.Benefits :
