Description

The registered dietitian has a solid foundation of education, credentialing, evidence-based practice, demonstrated competence, and adheres to established professional standards. Responsible for providing comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to acute care patients while upholding Providence's mission and core values.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and / or Dietetics or related field preferred, and
• Coursework / Training : ACEND-accredited supervised practice program at a health-care facility, community agency, or a foodservice corporation or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : Washington Dietitian Certification, or
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : Washington Dietitian Temporary Practice Permit, or
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : Washington Nutritionist Certification
• Upon hire : National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
