Who are we looking for?

GHD is seeking a motivated Sr. Air Quality Professional  to join our EHS team in Houston, TX or Tulsa, OK . The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects for clients in the oil & gas and chemical sectors in the US. Make decisions and recommendations recognized as authoritative and have important business impact on extensive engineering activities to research, design, plan, or perform in the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental hazards using various engineering disciplines, like waste treatment, site remediation, or pollution control technology. Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering problems, determining program objectives and requirements performing feasibility studies, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities. Conceive, develop, and evaluate plans and criteria for broad areas of considerable novelty and importance that are regarded as major advances in the field. Solve a variety of unique and complex engineering problems. Assess feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering solutions. Act as an expert and authority in the company in a broad area of specialization.

Responsibilities

Needs Assessment :

• Work with clients and colleagues to meet deadlines on unique and challenging air quality projects.
• Identify and assess client needs related to environmental compliance, permitting, and reporting.
• Conduct air quality analyses, assess regulatory compliance, and perform applicability evaluations across multiple industries.
