Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking an Internist / Family Medicine or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician to fill an opening with an Article 28 Diagnostic & Treatment Center located in Brooklyn, New York

Requirements of the Internist / Family Medicine / Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician :

Must have an active NY State License
Must be Board certified or Board eligible
Must be comfortable and experienced in giving trigger point injections and medical evaluations
Must be experienced and knowledgeable in workers comp and no fault.

Benefits of the Internist / Family Medicine / Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician :

The salary for this position is $250,000 to $350,000 / yr

This is a Full-time or Part-time position

Benefits are competitive and negotiable

Responsibilities of the Internist / Family Medicine / Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician :

Examine patients who need to undergo physical therapy.

Diagnose pain as a result of an injury, disease, or a disabling condition.

Determine and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients.

Recommend and undertake various medical procedures, such as disc decompression, prolotherapy, and vertebroplasty to treat pain and improve physical functioning.

Lead a team of medical professionals, which may include physical therapists and occupational therapists, in order to optimize patient care.

Monitor ongoing progress and health of patients, and change treatment plans, as necessary.

Provide adaptive tools to improve the overall health and physical functioning of patients.

Counsel patients and their families and help them adapt to lifestyle changes.

Provide support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.

Conduct research on injuries, diseases, and disabling conditions in order to improve and advance treatments
