job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssess resident complaints and determineaction notifying supervisor when necessary. Admitand transfer residents to and from other units or outside sources. Administeroral and / or injectable medication and controlled medications in accordance withfacility policy and within their scope of practice as defined by Florida law. Observefor side effects or adverse effects to medication and report to assignedsupervisor or further assessment and treatment. Preparepaperwork as required for consults within facility and outside appointments. Coordinateresidents appointments with unit staff to ensure medications are appropriatelytimed as need for resident movement to and from the unit. Provideemergency medical / psychiatric treatment within scope of practice as defined byfacility and Florida law and notifying supervisor for further assistance. Completeincident reports factually and objectively within the appropriate time frameas defined by the facility. Completeprogress notes on resident care within the appropriate time frame as defined bythe facility. Advocatefor residents recovery and safety. Maintain appropriate and professionalbehavior during interactions with residents supervisors and other staffmembers. Display professionalism throughoutemployment including but not limited to arriving to work on time maintainingan accurate timesheet and maintaining professional appearance as defined byfacility policy.
