The summer associate will work closely with the head of Advisory Solutions and Market Strategy, providing analysis and reporting to support client-facing teams across RJIM. The ideal candidate possesses intellectual curiosity and is excited to work in a collegial environment.
The summer associate position is a temporary role.
Start Date : Monday, June 1, 2026
End Date : Friday, August 7, 2026
Work Schedule : Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
Assist with monitoring daily trends across global markets, highlighting key fundamental and technical developments.
Work with team to prepare timely market commentary and help to tie into RJIM sales initiatives.
Learn about strategic and tactical asset allocation.
Provide summaries of key earnings reports (assuming they start before Q2 earnings season kicks off) and conference calls.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge of :
Fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a professional office environment.
Financial models and data visualization methods.
Basic knowledge and familiarity with data mining and data visualization tools.
Skill in :
Excel, Tableau, SQL, PowerPoint; familiarity with AI LLMs or Python a plus.
Simplify and present time series and cross-sectional data.
Ability to :
Respond to common data inquiries from internal teammates.
Assist in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
Interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Organize, manage, and track multiple tasks and assignments in a fast-paced work environment.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Educational / Previous Experience Requirements :
Full-time student at an accredited college / university, graduating December 2026 or later, pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and / or training approved by Human Resources.
Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT / EAD).
