The Public Relations Director for HATT Foundation will be responsible for managing, directing, and implementing the organization’s communication initiatives, specifically with media personnel, packaging personnel, networking personnel, and community affairs. Manages media relations, fundraising events, announcements, editorial placement, and speaking opportunities. Your duty also includes overseeing a team of public relations professionals to delegate tasks, writing or editing press releases prior to publication, and helping the companies organize press conferences and other important events. Creating, planning, and organizing community events to promote and expose the companies’ services and programs.

Public Relations Director will take up the following duties and responsibilities :

1.    Manage the organization’s public relations (PR) team and oversee all companies’ activities; networking and marketing events, fundraising events / campaigns, and community services

2.    Developing and implementing publicity strategies for the organization’s fundraising events, and services, including a crisis management strategy

3.    Developing and implementing organizational publicity strategies for organizing campaigns and events

4.    Creating and managing a PR plan, including budgets, timelines, etc.

5.    Analyzing all media coverage of the organization and drafting appropriate responses

6.    Working with the social media team to create a content calendar

7.    Organizing promotional events such as press tours and conferences

8.    Representing the organization at press conferences, interviews, etc.

9.    Working with organization marketing departments to maximize brand presence on various channels (e.g. web, TV, and social media)

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Public Relations (PR) Director, PR Manager, or similar role (for a nonprofit organization is a plus)
• Solid experience coordinating successful PR campaigns
• Expertise in different social networks, including Facebook and Twitter
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence to serve as the organization’s spokesperson
• Creative abilities
• Team management skills
• Ability to foster long-term relationships with key professionals
• BSc in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or relevant field

Position : Full-time

Position salary : $39,500 annually

Available shifts and compensation : Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation depends on your experience.
