Sourcing Strategist

A company is looking for a Sourcing Strategist / Senior Buyer to assist with sourcing and purchasing materials while driving procurement improvements and managing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and create purchase orders for raw and packaging materials while interacting with plant managers across the US and Canada

Monitor inbound raw material movements and resolve discrepancies in purchasing and invoicing

Assist in researching and evaluating new suppliers, including bids, costs, and quality assessments

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in purchasing and supply chain roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Experience with ERP systems and Material Management modules (MRP / Purchasing)

Proficiency in Excel

APICS - CPIM or equivalent certification is preferred

BS in Supply Chain, Business, or a similar degree is required
