Job Description : JOB DESCRIPTION

North Orange County Community College District is now accepting applications for a Part-Time DSS Class Aide and optional Educational Coaching assignments at NOCE!

Program Assistant :

  • Monitor and manage student intakes for the Workability III Program
  • Maintain accurate records and files for program activities
  • Assist students during the referral and intake process
  • Support the program manager
  • Support WA3 staff with required invoicing documentation
  • Ensure effective communication with students and staff
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed
  • Assist with documentation (DOR documentation, copies, filing, etc.)

Schedule :

  • October 2025-June 30, 2026; 38.5 weeks / 26 hours a week max; flexible hours; availability between Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-3 : 00pm desired
  • Potential for contract renewal for fiscal year July 1-June 2027
  • Unpaid lunch
  • Salary :

  • Non-Classified short-term hourly, pay, $20.00 per hour
  • 1 position open to be filled for 2025-2026; potential for rehire for the next academic year, 2026-2027.
  • Minimum Qualifications :

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • One (1) year of related experience.
  • Skilled with technology (Zoom, Canvas, Microsoft Suite, Google Platform).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Commitment to diversity. All applicants must have demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff. The applicant must be able to demonstrate how their experience with these factors relates to successfully achieving the goals of the position.
  • Desirable Qualifications :

    DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting people with disabilities.
  • College courses in applicable areas of study (psychology, education, etc.)
  • Spanish fluency.
  • Organizing skills.
  • Quick learner.
  • Tech Savvy.
  • Experience assisting and promoting the growth and success of a diverse population of students and employees through the development of interculturally competent and equity minded practices or initiatives.
  • Salary Range :

    Professional Expert I : $20 / hour
