Position Title : Control Center Manager (CCM)
Location : Social Security Administration HQ, Baltimore, MD
Security Clearance Level : NACI / SSA Suitability Determination
Duties and Responsibilities
The Control Center Manager's duties include the following :
On-site at SSA HQ Monday - Friday; 8AM to 4PM, excluding federal holidays;Provide operational and contractual oversight of control center personnel and control center operations;Collaborate with the Control Center Supervisors (CCSes) to update and maintain the Control Center Operations Manual, including SOPs;Communicate with the Government Watch Officer, COR and Task Manager (TM);Ensure information is passed on to the CCS and other contractor personnel;CCS and Control Center Operators scheduling of multiple posts and shifts;Conduct audits of security system reports to ensure compliance with requirements;Conduct random inspections and prepare audit and inspection reports;Participate in required training and exercises;Ensuring successful and satisfactory delivery of security services;Execute the Staffing Plan and coordinate vacancy fills;Update the Control Center Operations Manual when notified of changes from the Government COR or Task Manager;Provide training coordination of the contractor's Designated Trainers and participation by contractor staff. Coordinate contractor personnel testing with the Government COR.Knowledge and Qualifications
A United States citizen;Have either a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma;Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in control center supervision which includes scheduling of staff and oversight of a variety of security-related duties including intrusion detection system monitoring, notification, surveillance system monitoring;Have a minimum of two years of experience working in a control center type environment within the past five years;Have technical knowledge of surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems operation and application and be knowledgeable of digital and internet protocol (IP) video systems, as well as how they are used;Have the ability to obtain a Public Safety Telecommunicator certification through the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) and then maintain all re-certification requirements. APCO Public Safety Telecommunicator certification is preferred;Have the ability to successfully pass the screening for illegal drugs;Experience using information systems that schedule personnel for coverage of posts / gates / work stations and shiftsKnowledge and experience providing quality customer service to Government employees, contractors, and / or visitors.Available to begin work on or before 8 August 2025Possess organizational, personnel management, conflict resolution, and customer service skills and / or experienceFluently speak, comprehend, read, and write the English languageValid U.S driver's licenseEqual Opportunity Employer .
