Your Role on the Team

Position Summary :

The Cardiovascular Technologist (Special Procedures Tech) is responsible for performing the appropriate skills and techniques necessary during a diagnostic or therapeutic procedure under the scope of practice. The RT has the responsibility of identifying and maintain patient safety as it relates to radiation exposure and safety. Position rotates between scrub and monitor. On call requirement with a 30-minute response time.

Department Procedures include but are not limited to :

• Coronary angiogram / angioplasty
• Peripheral angiogram / angioplasty
• Neuro interventional angiogram / angioplasty
• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) and Thoracic vessel repair
• Neuro Coronary Peripheral Pulmonary Thrombectomy
• Central / Port placement and removal
• Electrophysiology procedures including Ablation
• Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) procedures
• Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)
• Cardioversion
