Our in-house subacute rehabilitation team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to help individuals recover from illness, injury, or surgery and regain independence.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic in-house rehab team.

Position Summary

As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities and promote independence in daily activities. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based OT services aligned with patient goals.

Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members.

Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, adaptive techniques, and safe practices.

Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation per facility and regulatory standards.

Participate in care planning, team meetings, and discharge planning.

Adhere to state, federal, and facility policies, including HIPAA and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida.

CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Experience in skilled nursing or subacute rehab preferred, but not required.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
