Pay Range : $60 - $70 per hour

Job Summary :

Seeking a dedicated and skilled Support Escalation Engineer to join our Technical Support team on the West Coast. The successful candidate will tackle complex issues, provide pivotal escalation support to global Fortune 500 companies, and collaborate closely with both support engineers and our engineering teams to resolve high-impact problems. This role requires someone who can manage critical customer issues independently and recommend system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities :

Act as the primary escalation point for tier 2 support engineers.
Independently manage and resolve high-visibility, critical customer issues.
Troubleshoot complex customer environments, providing root cause analysis and workarounds.
Liaise with the Engineering team regarding potential defects.
Recommend new solutions to enhance functionality, features, and defect repair.

Must-Have Skills :

Strong experience in Technical Support roles (5-10 years).

Profound knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and commonly used Internet Protocols.

Solid foundation in Unix / Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Domain Experience Required :

Experience supporting SaaS technology.

Knowledge of network troubleshooting and configuration, including advanced TCP / IP and networking protocols (VRRP, OSPF, BGP).

Excellent proficiency in written and verbal communication.
