HVAC Service Manager

Davidson Heating & Air, Inc. is seeking a Service Manager for our location in Lexington, North Carolina. This position requires a senior level service technician with management experience. In this role you will be responsible for the overall business results for your assigned team(s) and for the safety and supervision of Service Technicians who repair, retrofit, or replace HVAC systems and related controls. Additionally, you will be responsible for the training and development of the team Field Technicians. This is a field work related position with on-call rotation.

Responsibilities :

• Implement and evaluate area safety needs / requirements.
• Accountable for the profit and loss of the performance of the Field Team.
• Responsible for strategically training and developing HVAC field technicians.
• Review technicians' work and accompanying service reports.
• Provide oversight with Office Manager in scheduling, organizing, and dispatching HVAC Field Technicians.
• Interact with customers and contribute to the growth and sustainability of our customer portfolio.
• Answer customer questions / special requests.
• Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by proactively anticipating challenges, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
• Utilize our operating system to pull data for reports, forecasting, and / or special projects.
• Gather data and provide cost review in the preparation of quotes for equipment repairs and / or replacement at customers' locations.
• Review monthly service profitability report to improve service performance.
