JOB SUMMARY

MSKTD is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 2-7 years of experience designing facilities for higher ed, commercial, healthcare, and industrial, or similar related experience, to work closely with Project Architects / Managers / Engineers in developing project designs and documentation. This is a full-time position with an immediate start date.

Candidate must be able to show initiative, carry basic concepts and ideas to completion with minimal direction and guidance Individual can work efficiently and productively in a team-based organization. additionally, site observation responsibilities, A working knowledge of engineering software, spreadsheets, word processing software and Adobe products is a plus. Experience with Revit BIM is required.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Client interaction
• Project due diligence, field work, and documentation of facilities
• Code review
• Preliminary layout and conceptual design
• Coordination with architectural and other engineering disciplines
• Construction document production and coordination
• Shop drawing / submittal review
• Construction administration
• HVAC load calculation and Mechanical System design
• Plumbing and Sprinkler System design
• Energy Modeling
