Job Full Description

L1 Technician

Responsibilities include data wiping of computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, servers, and associated peripherals. Generating detailed reports on material wiped and uploading the specs into our inventory management system.

To be considered for this position, the candidate must have the following :

  • 1-2 Years of related activities
  • Comptia A+ (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of PC's, Printers, and LAN, WAN equipment

JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • Using erasure software to data wipe equipment, upload specs, and generate reports on equipment wiped.
  • Communicate effectively in a team environment with co-workers.
  • Efficiently handle multiple tasks in an often stressful environment with supervision.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. with little assistance.
  • Must be comfortable stack / building, shrink-wrapping, and decommissioning pallets.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

    • POSTION REQUIREMENTS :

  • General Use Encryption LAN / Wireless WAN
  • Certifications Comptia A+ is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and anti-static precautions.
  • Professional appearance, attitude and ethical behavior required.
