Job Summary
This position leads the colleges effort to assist in the orientation and transition of students into the campus and support a sense of belonging for all students. This position is designated as Campus Security Authority (CSA).
Responsibilities
1 -
Collaborates with campus stakeholders and oversees programming that promotes an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students.
2 -
Designs, executes, supports, and assesses student transition programming for new students including the College's orientation program.
3 -
Applies for, manages, and maintains federal / state / local grants.
4 -
Leads Office of Campus Community & Belonging and supervises employees.
5 -
Establishes partnerships with local school systems, community organizations, and civic groups to create, execute, and assess opportunities to access the College of Coastal Georgia.
6 -
Develop strategies to identify, communicate with, and track at-risk students to increase student success and retention. Developing processes to connect students to campus academic success resources (i.e Faculty, Academic Tutoring, Advising, etc.).

Collaborates with campus leaders to develop and execute strategies to increase student recruitment, foundation support, and community engagement.

Engages with campus-wide committees and establishes supplemental committees as needed

Performs related duties as assigned.

Knowledge of program and budget management principles.
