Job Purpose / Summary

This is a dual role for a Contracts / Subcontracts Administrator with the primary job responsibilities being administering and managing both contract and subcontracts in various stages from proposal through execution and close out.

Duties and Responsibilities

Specific tasks include :

  • Issuing Proprietary Information Agreements.
  • Developing and overseeing RFP packages.
  • Analyzing and evaluating proposals to include price analysis, validating proposal compliance, developing negotiation strategies, negotiating price and terms and conditions including contract flow downs, facilitate invoicing, and monitor performance against the contract, SOW and funding requirements.
  • Candidate will be required to execute contracts, subcontracts and modifications and generate required documentation in accordance with established FAR / DFAR Regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Candidate must have the ability to work independently, as well as manage cross functional teams on all subcontract related issues, multi-tasking is crucial for success.
  • Must be able to assess, prioritize, drive issues to closure and be assertive when required.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgement in the performance of duties.
  • Candidate must be flexible in taking on additional work assignments in support of other business requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience with contracts and subcontracts administration supporting federal contracts
  • Experience with contracts and subcontracts, including FFP and FFPLOE
  • Experience with successfully negotiating complex terms and conditions
  • Experience with government file documentation
  • Knowledge of the FAR and DFAR
  • Experience negotiating non-disclosure and teaming agreements
  • Ability to make strategic decisions while delivering results
  • Bachelors degree with 5 years experience or High School Diploma with 10 years contracting experience
  • Ability to obtain a US Security clearance
  • Additional Desired Skills :

  • Experience with SBIR / STTR contracts
  • Ability to use independent judgement and creativity to resolve contractual issues
  • Price Analysis experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
  • International contracting experience

    Should be willing to work in a variety of settings as needed. Flexible to work long hours as required.
