Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in hospital telemetry nursing

BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Strong clinical assessment and cardiac monitoring skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients in the telemetry unit, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care

Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, procedures, and discharge planning
