We are looking for a passionate and driven Medical Assistant for our Philadelphia, PA market representing a critical part of our care delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and submit them to the Medical Director (wound pictures and wound measurements).
- Responsible for drawing blood from patients
- Confirm you have the proper supplies for patient visits for the provider, order supplies, and make sure supplies are properly stocked at all times
- Assisting provider in procedures with direction from provider
- Provide effective, efficient, professional, and timely communication with patients, family, coworkers, management and care partners.
- Take notes from provider and input into EMR and other related documentation
- Report to Director of Operations
- Position consists of traveling to various SNFs (Skilled Nursing Facilities)
- Assist in implementation of Healing Partner's clinical and operational protocols.
- All other tasks and action items as requested and approved by leadership.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Medical Assistant DiplomaCertified Medical AssistantAbility to and willingness to travel, treating patients in various SNFs (Skilled Nursing Facilities).Experience in Wound Care is a plus.Benefits
