Medical Device Electrical Assembler

Compensation : $20-$24 / hour
Schedule : First Shift, Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 a.m.–2 : 30 p.m.
A day in this role
- Start in our climate- and particulate-controlled area, suit up to meet ESD and ISO Class 5 cleanroom protocols, and review your work instructions.
- Wire, solder, and perform electrical tests on medical carts and enclosures, using precision torque tools to exact specifications.
- Rotate, as needed, into mechanical final assembly or subassembly to meet the production mix.
- Verify parts and workmanship—sometimes double-checking the work of other assemblers—against quality standards.
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or builds, collaborate with teammates, and escalate as appropriate.
- Keep the area 6S-ready through consistent housekeeping and careful organization.
- Invest in your future : pursue certifications toward Electrical / Mechanical Assembly Team Member Level Two and Level Three (each typically ~6 months, with Team Lead approval and prior certification completion).
What you’ll handle
Electrical assembly, subassembly, soldering, and PCB-related work for medical device applications.Adherence to ESD requirements and ISO Class 5 cleanroom standards.Use of calibrated torque tools and strict compliance with documented work instructions.Quality verification of parts and assemblies; support peer verification when needed.Proactive safety practices with proper PPE at all times.What you bring
Education : High school diploma or equivalent.Experience : 1+ year in electrical assembly.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings / blueprints.Comfort with hand and power tools, plus routine in-process quality checks.Physical and mental demands
Frequent use of hand and power tools; assembly of very small components.Read and follow detailed instructions and prints.Close and color vision; ability to read; lift up to 50 lbs.Why MPE
