Currently, we operate multiple elementary and middle schools across the Bronx, Upper Manhattan, and Queens. We plan to grow and open 1-2 schools each year because children in every community deserve excellent, equitable education.
Our Network office is located at 401 W. 218th St., New York, NY 10034. Our Network team follows a hybrid work schedule : we work in-person from our office on Tuesdays and Thursdays with optional remote days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, if your team's scope of work permits.

To achieve our vision, we are searching for a Creative Director with a Bachelor's degree (preferably in Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or related field), and at least 7-10 years of experience with a proven record of developing distinctive brand identities and managing creative teams .
Responsibilities :
- Shape Zeta's creative vision and strategy across all brand touch-points, including school environments, marketing materials, and digital presence
- Establish a cohesive creative philosophy that brings Zeta's love-driven approach to education to life visually and experientially
- Develop innovative concepts for transforming school spaces into inspiring learning environments that reflect Zeta's mission and values
- Direct the production of high-quality creative assets across multiple channels (print, digital, environmental, video)
- Act as the guardian of Zeta's brand, ensuring consistency while allowing for fresh, compelling expressions
- Inspire and mentor freelance creative talent while managing relationships with external creative partners
- Evaluate creative work against strategic objectives, providing constructive feedback that elevates quality
- Present creative concepts and campaigns to leadership, school teams, and key stakeholders
- Stay current with design trends, innovative environmental approaches, and creative technologies relevant to education
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and School Operations teams to implement creative vision across the organization
- Develop creative briefs and guidelines that can be effectively executed by both internal and external teams
- Wear multiple hats as a part of a lean scale-up team, supporting the work of others on the team and taking on new projects and tasks as needed

The salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $150,000. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary at or near the start of the range, depending on relevant experience and internal equity. Compensation is based on our salary scales. This position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary, merit-based performance bonus.
