Legal Secretary- Insurance Defense

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and organized Legal Secretary to join our team. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide vital support to our attorneys and help ensure the efficient operation of our legal practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the legal field.

Responsibilities :

• Document Preparation : Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
• Client Communication : Maintain regular communication with clients, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries.
• Research : Conduct legal research, gather relevant information, and prepare summaries for attorneys.
• Case Management : Organize and maintain legal files, calendars, and deadlines.
• Court Filings : Prepare and file legal documents with courts, agencies, and opposing counsel.
• Billing and Invoicing : Assist with billing and invoicing tasks, including tracking billable hours and expenses.
• Administrative Support : Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, managing emails, and scheduling meetings.
• Legal Database Management : Maintain and update legal databases and records.
