Information Systems Supervisor
The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Information Systems Supervisor.
This position requires a comprehensive technical understanding of networking principles, strong security acumen, and proactive operational management to ensure the county's network infrastructure is reliable, secure, and accessible to authorized users wherever they are located. This role is pivotal for supporting government functions, public services, and secure communication across departments.
This position will manage the Information System Section of the Risk Management Division (RMD) through the following methods :
Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science or closely related field. (One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.) Requires four (4) years experience in systems analysis, systems design and / or programming experience relevant to Risk Management database management including six (6) months lead work / supervisory experience. Special Certifications and Licenses None. Preferences - Master's degree in computer science or computer related field - Information Technology Security Certifications - Microsoft SQL Server experience - Business Intelligence Reporting experience - Windows Server Administration experience - Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) - Crystal Reports experience - Marsh ClearSight Enterprise experience
