Education : Associate degree or technical diploma in Manufacturing Technology, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Experience : Multi-years’ experience in Aerospace or related industry product testing; Experienced in the use of pressure gauges, manometers, dielectric and insulation resistance testers, pressure transducers, data acquisition systems, constant current supplies, various meters, thermocouples, humidity probes, thermal chambers and vibration testing; basic knowledge of electricity and electronics.

  • Job Description :

    • Support the manufacturing and testing of aerospace-grade pressure switches and transducers . Assist engineers in developing and maintaining robust assembly, calibration, and test processes. Perform hands-on technical work on production lines, help implement process improvements, and maintain compliance with industry standards (e.g., AS9100).
    • Key Responsibilities :

      Production & Process Support

    • Assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes for pressure switches and transducers.
    • Assemble, calibrate, and test electro-mechanical components using specialized tools and fixtures.
    • Perform routine leak, pressure, and functional testing of components using calibrated instruments.
    • Documentation & Quality

    • Maintain accurate build records, calibration data, and test logs.
    • Support the creation and revision of work instructions, process checklists, and assembly procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA, and internal quality system requirements during daily operations.
    • Report and document non-conformances; assist with corrective actions and root cause investigations.
    • Tooling & Equipment

    • Assist in designing, fabricating, or modifying jigs, fixtures, and test setups.
    • Perform preventative maintenance and calibration checks on production tooling and test equipment.
    • Process Improvement

    • Provide feedback to engineers on manufacturability, ergonomic concerns, and production flow.
    • Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives (e.g., 5S, waste reduction, visual controls).
    • Identify opportunities for improving yield, reducing cycle time, and increasing process stability.
    • Skills and Requirements :

    • Applicant must be ITAR compliant.
    • Education : Associate degree or technical diploma in Manufacturing Technology, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
    • Experience : 2+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or electromechanical assembly.
    • Technical Skills :
    • Experience with mechanical assembly and soldering (IPC-A-610 / 620 is a plus).

    • Familiarity with pressure sensors, strain gauges, or transducers is strongly preferred.
    • Ability to use hand tools, torque tools, calibration equipment, and multimeters.
    • Comfortable reading engineering drawings, schematics, and process documentation.
    • Software :
    • Basic proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word).

    • Experience with ERP / MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
    • Soft Skills :
    • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

    • Good communication and collaboration skills.
    • Comfortable working in cleanroom or controlled environments.
    • Preferred Qualifications :

    • Experience working to AS9100 , FAA , or DoD requirements.
    • Familiarity with test automation, data logging, or simple scripting (e.g., LabVIEW, Python) is a bonus.
    • Experience with lean tools (5S, Kaizen, standard work) and root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone).
