Preferred Primary Care Physicians (PPCP) is currently recruiting for a full-time Medical Assistant for our practice located in Pittsburgh, PA, at 1039 Brookline Blvd, #2, Pittsburgh, PA 15226. Candidates must have at least 6 months' experience in MA duties (rooming patients, taking vitals, administering injections, etc...) or be a Certified Phlebotomist willing to take on both back office and front office responsibilities based on office need. Top consideration for those candidates who have image authorization skills and those with Phlebotomy skills.
Full-time, non-exempt hourly position. Fantastic Monday-Friday day schedule commensurate with experience!!

General Overview of the Medical Assistant Position :
The Medical Receptionist serves as the initial person to greet, instruct and direct all persons visiting or calling the medical practice utilizing skills of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality in a professional manner.

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience / On the Job Training :
Minimum six (6) month medical front office experience. Knowledge of the healthcare field and medical terminology is a must. Six (6) months of back office MA (vitals, injections, ekg) and Phlebotomy (blood draws) experience required.
