Primary Functions :
The Federal Account Executive is a blended role that reports to the Vice President of Government Affairs and is responsible for marketing and directly supporting HPC Federal's services, while growing individual sales and supporting sales for HPC Specialty Infusion.
Major Responsibilities :
- Promote full line of HPC Federal and HPC specialty pharmacy services.
- Establish, develop and maintain contacts and resources.
- Expands the current customer base by directly engaging Government Contracting Partners and Customers.
- Growing the number of referral sources and patients benefiting from HPC's services.
- Support and insure that all documentation related to HPC Specialty Infusion is in complete compliance with insurance and / or Medicare / Medicaid guidelines.
- Analyze and capitalize on the trends and opportunities for both HPC Federal and HPC Specialty Infusion.
- Research and launch new services for additional disease states.
- Support efforts to manage marketing events and represent HPC Federal in a positive manner.
- Maintains a mastery level of knowledge of prospective customers concerns.
- Travel to national and regional events.
- Become a trusted advisor to partners, government offices and community members, thus developing mutually beneficial relationships.
- Provides weekly progress reports to the Vice President of Government Affairs.
- Completes all administrative detail on time and with high quality.

Education :
Bachelor's degree in sales / marketing or related field preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Minimum of 2 years business development or sales experience is strongly preferred.Experience in Government Contracting and supporting Federal Opportunities.Knowledge of Neurology, Immunology, Gastroenterology or Rheumatology is strongly preferred.Sales experience in Hemophilia or Immunoglobulin therapy is preferred.Strong interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.Experience managing large and complexed territories is preferred.Ability to work independently, be creative, have high-energy, and achieve goals with minimal direction.30% overnight travel may be required depending on the territory and opportunity, and will be determined by the Vice President of Government Affairs.Language Skills :
Ability to read and interpret documents.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Mathematical Skills :
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning Ability :
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations :
Must have and maintain a valid Driver's license, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile.
