Job Description
Essential Responsibilities :
- Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
- Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
- Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems / contexts affected when defining technical designs
- Performs analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements
- Makes sound design / coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront
- Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards
- Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures
- Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices
- Embraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank's technology transformation
- Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Reviews tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery; anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalation
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experienceFive to six years of relevant experiencePreferred Skills / Experience :
Development experience with Java, Microservices, Swagger, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security and Node.jsExperience designing and building RESTFUL web servicesProficiency in frontend development with ReactJS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworksExperience with Postman to validate the APIs in multiple environments and Sonar Cube for source code analysis and to detect the code duplications in files and projects. Also, to address the code smellsExperience writing Junit test cases for the backend codeConsuming Java API's using React Axios and displaying data to the users. Utilized React components, hooks (use Effect, use State, use Context), states, props, Router, Refs, React Context, Events, Conditional Rendering, Redux concepts to implement the functionalities needed for the project deliveryUI development experience using HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, React and writing Jest test cases for the functionalities developed using ReactExperience using Jenkins CI / CD pipelines for constant code commit and deployment to various environments such as IT, UAT and PROD. Using Black duck, Fortify and Twist lock scans for performing vulnerability remediation and Kibana to check logs for multiple environments. Familiar with change management principles to deploy the code changes to the Prod environmentUtilizing the following tools and technologies : Java8, Spring Boot, Microservices, Postman, Jenkins, Eclipse / IntelliJ, VS Code, Git Lab, Kibana, Splunk, JIRA, Docker Desktop, Kubernetes, Swagger, and Microservices ArchitectureLocation Expectations : The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range : $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
