The Environmental Regulatory Specialist (EPS Tech III) ensures university compliance with federal and state environmental regulations governing public water systems, stormwater management, and air quality (Title V). This position serves as the primary liaison between the university and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), tracking and verifying permit requirements, coordinating testing and reporting, coordinating training, and resolving compliance issues. The specialist analyzes regulatory changes, develops and implements updated processes, and collaborates with Facilities Management personnel, consultants, and campus stakeholders to maintain safe drinking water, prevent stormwater contamination, and minimize air emissions. The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and independent judgment in developing and improving environmental compliance programs across university operations.
