About project
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our team. This role is critical in developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms that enhance our AI-driven medical imaging platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, product management, and clinical experts, to develop innovative solutions that transform 2D X-ray images into 3D, ultimately impacting patient care.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis :
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to inform model development and refinement.
- Collaborate with clinical experts to understand and incorporate domain-specific knowledge into models.
- Model Development and Optimization :
- Design and develop machine learning models with the software engineering team.
- Ensure models are scalable, robust, and performant in real-world clinical settings.
- Monitor and evaluate model performance, making improvements as necessary.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in machine learning and medical imaging.
- Collaboration and Communication :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Communicate technical progress and challenges to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and presentations.
- Quality and Compliance :
- Implement best practices for data management, model development, and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA).
- Maintain a strong focus on quality assurance and user experience.
Requirements
Graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Ph. D. preferred.7+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and medical imaging.Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in production.Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies and their application in image processing.Expertise in programming languages such as Python, C and C++.Proficiency with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with regulatory compliance and standards in healthcare is a plus.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
