Northrop Grumman is looking for you to join our team as a Manager, Hardware Engineering based in McClellan, CA.
Leading a group of engineers that conducts research, design, development, and testing of information processing hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, mechanical and electrical components. This position leads a group for component engineering of existing products for a large-scale missile defense program. Additional duties and areas of responsibility for developing technical specifications for production / suppliers use, analyzes hardware configuration and processing solutions, and tests hardware (electrical, mechanical, composite) for conformance to specifications in accordance with MIL-STD-11991 and / or SD-19. Work / guide 2 week agile work intervals for tasking / assignments for team individuals.
Functional home room responsibilities for "care of the team". This includes providing mentoring, quarterly performance reviews, handling any necessary disciplinary actions, ensuring LX training requirements are met, program office interface, ensuring program cost / schedule milestones are achieved, developing staffing plans, and establishing department indirect budget (expense materials / tools, and overhead for training / seminars).

Primary Level Salary Range : $118,000.00 - $177,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
