Telemetry RN Job Details Location : Augusta, Georgia 30901 Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Telemetry Unit (16 rooms) Contract Duration : 7 weeks (12 / 1 / 2025 - 1 / 19 / 2026) Nursing Shift : Night, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1660-$1700 Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics Patient Ratio : 1 : 4-5 Scrub Color : Navy Blue Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Floating : Yes, as needed Call Requirement : None Holiday Coverage : Must be available to work holidays during assignment Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting Active Georgia or Compact Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submission) Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system Proficient in managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) : milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, Heparin Strong skills in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and ventilator patient care Ability to work every other weekend and required holidays Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) Full compliance with all onboarding requirements prior to start Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and vascular conditions Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, respond promptly to changes in patient condition, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Administer and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) Care for patients with CHF, MI / chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias, hypertension / hypotension, pleural effusion, sepsis, PE / DVT, and other vascular diagnoses Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and Pyxis for medication management Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed Float to other nursing units as required Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Apply now to join our Augusta, Georgia healthcare team as a Telemetry Registered Nurse and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
