Position Overview

As a Software Engineer Manager within PNCs Technology organization you can be based in Strongsville OH Pittsburgh PA Birmingham AL or Dallas TX.

This position is primarily based in a location within PNCs footprint.

You will oversee a staff of software engineers responsible for delivering low-code / no-code cloud solutions to automate business processes extract or store data in Sharepoint & Dataverse and create intuitive user interfaces with an emphasis on accessibility.

Technical skills : Azure

MS Power Platform (Power Automate Power FX Power BI Dataverse) preferred

Team Leadership & Development

Lead mentor and manage a team of software engineers.

Conduct performance evaluations and support career development.

Recruit and onboard new engineering talent.

Technical Oversight

Guide architectural decisions and ensure code quality through reviews.

Promote best practices in software development and testing.

Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Align engineering efforts with business objectives and customer needs.

Communicate progress risks and outcomes to senior leadership.

Process Improvement

Identify and implement process enhancements to improve team efficiency.

Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field preferred

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.

Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Strong understanding of Agile DevOps and software development life cycles.

Excellent communication organizational and leadership skills.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary : $65000.00 $171925.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location market data and on individual skills experience and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company business and / or individual performance.
