Process Engineer

60-$75K DOE The process engineer is responsible for supporting, developing, and implementing assembly manufacturing processes in order to continually improve quality performance. Duties / Responsibilities : Addresses’ manufacturability concerns without disrupting customers’ development schedules. Reviews, critiques new job releases. Reviews, captures and communicates DFM issues to the customer and provides recommendations. Works with documentation to create build and visual aid package. Works with documentation to interpret engineering change orders. Works with process engineering to ensure the introduction of product into manufacturing. Works with manufacturing to determine in process DFM issues and feeds back to the customer. Maintains current knowledge of applicable external standards. Acts as subject matter expert when representing company in cross functional client meetings. Continually mindful clients’ expectations are met in a timely and efficient manner. Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of production related processes & manufacturing equipment while repeatedly manufacturing complex products. Maintain ESD controls Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills / Abilities : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electronic Engineering. At least seven years related experience required. Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in 22 CFR 120.62 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status). Physical Requirements : Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
