Summary

As a Sr Business Systems Analyst within the Global Information Systems (GIS) Global Learning Services team, you will serve as a strategic technical partner responsible for the management, optimization, and support of Illumina's enterprise Learning Management System (Saba LMS). This role is essential to enabling global learning operations across the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting scientific and operational excellence.

You will lead system releases, enhancements, integrations, and technical improvements, while collaborating with cross-functional teams including Global Quality, Global Operations, HR, R&D, and Compliance. Your work will directly impact the company's ability to deliver effective training and maintain validated learning environments in alignment with FDA and global regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly LMS platform releases, ensuring system validation and compliance with FDA and other regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with global learning teams to design and implement strategic initiatives, integrations, and enhancements.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions, leveraging deep knowledge of LMS capabilities.
• Provide hands-on application support, including issue resolution, root cause analysis, and post-production support.
• Monitor and maintain system integrity across integrations and analytic services.
• Conduct data analysis using tools such as SQL, MS Access, and Excel to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive usability improvements and proactively identify system optimization opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional project teams from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Partner with vendor resources and internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and support of learning technologies.
• Support of additional global training related systems such as WalkMe and Adobe Sign, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business and operational workflows.

The estimated base salary range for the Sr Business Systems Analyst, Global Learning Services role based in the United States of America is : $96,500 - $144,700. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
