Summary

We are looking for a Warehouse Specialist to join the Baker Electric team! As a Warehouse Specialist you will assist in a variety of warehouse duties, including unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling warehouse requests, maintaining yard cleanliness and overall warehouse organization. This is a non-union opportunity with Baker Electric in our Los Angeles region. As a team you will help to ensure the warehouse successfully supports the field projects timely and accurately.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving trucks and unloading tools, equipment, and trash.
• Responsible for proper storage and inventory accuracy of material and supplies stored at the warehouse.
• Stock warehouse with tools and materials in proper locations.
• Fulfill warehouse requests from field Foreman and stage in proper location.
• Support Shipping and Receiving team with checking in merchandise and applying request labels as requested.
• Inspect all orders for damage and missing items.
• Forward all incoming material delivery paperwork to your designated supervisor for processing.
• Maintain secured, clean, and organized storage areas in warehouse at all times.
• Provide back-up driving when needed.
• Provide support to various departments, including Tool Repair, Rentals, Fleet, and Facilities, as needed.
• Assist in addressing various facility maintenance needs, including but not limited to general repair work, plumbing, HVAC systems, lighting, furniture assembly, and departmental relocations.
• Assist in delivery of materials, tools, or fleet vehicles as needed.
• Conduct inventory assessments of obsolete or surplus items when required.
• Maintain, clean, and organize the companys warehouse and storage yards to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Conduct regular safety audits and assist with repairs or the installation of new safety features as needed.
