This position requires big ass energy for work both on and off frac locations. We provide opportunities to develop a skillset that equips the AFS Operator for oilfield work including equipment fueling and light repair work.
Requirements :
Demonstrate a basic understanding of system mechanics—bonus points if you can remove and replace small system componentsFamiliar with frac sites and have experience in fueling—more bonus points if you have been a fuel tech or roustabout beforeTrustworthy and capable of working in an unsupervised environmentIdentify ways to be proactive and independentAble to work outside in extreme temperatures and remote areasAble to identify and troubleshoot problems while in a fast-paced environmentSafety trainings preferred but provided if you do not have them, including Safeland's PEC / OSHA 10 hour and H2SPossess a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving historyMust have reliable transportation to get to and from the yard everydayAble to lift and pull 75 lbsBe at least 24 years of agePass a drug testJob Duties :
Operate the BAT fuel box according to company proceduresEnsure all equipment is fueled at all times; never allow equipment to run low or out of fuelProvide basic maintenance / operations inspections for equipment and hoses
Complete rig-up and rig-down of AFSMaintain accurate tickets and recordsExecute basic mechanical repairsPerform maintenance and projects at frac sites and the yardMonitor and report fuel levels and keep open communication with DispatchMust be willing to work both on location and in the yardProvide excellent customer servicePerform all other duties as assignedDon't half ass your future!
