Responsibilities

• Prepare customer contract assessments in compliance with Microsoft's Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 606 accounting policies and guidelines to document accounting conclusions and calculate revenue adjustments
• Assess contract amendments to draw proper Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 606 conclusions and determine Day 2 revenue adjustments
• Engage in discussions with Deal Desk to gather deal specific information and business @context required to effectively complete contract reviews and amendment assessments
• Reviews peer work product for completeness and accuracy once proficiency of product and services knowledge is attained
• Perform month end close revenue tasks independently
• Develop deep understanding of Microsoft's revenue policies to effectively pose and field inquiries to / from business partners
• Identify deal trends to raise for leadership consideration

Accounting IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 - $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 - $168,000 per year.
