Operations And Sales Account Representative

The Operations and Sales Account Representative is an integral member of our team, bridging customer sales with internal supply chain and production operations. This position is responsible for preparing accurate quotes and orders, coordinating material flow, tracking inventory, and supporting warehouse activities. The ideal candidate brings a balance of technical knowledge, organizational skills, and customer service, while working closely with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Keeping inventory systems accurate and up to date, including issuing purchase orders to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Managing the shipping and receiving of ITS equipment, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded in the ERP system.
  • Compiling and sharing lead pipeline updates and performance reports with the sales management team.
  • Developing customer quotes and performing estimating take-offs to support sales efforts.
  • Reviewing and processing incoming orders for traffic equipment, verifying product specifications, pricing, and timely delivery.
  • Partnering with MoboTrex and third-party vendors to track shipments, resolve delivery concerns, and ensure commitments are met.
  • Providing administrative support for outside sales representatives, including lead tracking and sales activity coordination.
  • Installing and testing firmware on traffic controllers to verify proper functionality.
  • Assembling and testing traffic control cabinets and battery backup cabinets in alignment with quality standards.

Other duties may include :

  • Performing cross-functional planning support when needed.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned.
  • Requirements :

    Education & Experience :

  • Background in sales support, supply chain, or warehouse operations (manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Working knowledge of ERP or inventory systems (CSI or equivalent preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related business software.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification a plus.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and management practices.
  • Ability to generate accurate customer quotes and estimates.
  • Basic electrical wiring knowledge (preferred but not required).
  • Shipping and receiving experience (preferred).
  • Experience with Syteline / Cloud Suite Industrial ERP and HubSpot CRM (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-first mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven.
  • Comfortable multitasking and adapting within a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment :

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the employee may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.

    The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
