Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT / Radiologic Technologist with dual modality certification and at least 1 year of experience for a night shift role in a high-volume hospital environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital setting designated as Trauma Level IV, Chest Pain, and Stroke Center
  • Rotating between CT and radiology modalities in the ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas
  • Night shift schedule from 8 : 30pm to 7 : 00am with 10-hour shifts
  • Weekend rotation required, discussed during interview
  • Travelers will work 75% of holidays
  • Department sees an average of 325 patients per day across modalities
  • Schedule cycle is every 4 weeks
  • EMR system is EPIC and uses Siemens and GE equipment
  • Care for a broad range of diagnoses in a high-volume, patient-centered department
  • Work supported by a collaborative team including nursing and transport staff
  • Department culture emphasizes team accountability and patient-centered care
  • 3-5 days of orientation depending on modality, with additional online NEO courses
  • Black scrubs required
  • Free parking available

    • Requirements

  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a dual modality CT / Rad Tech
  • ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certification required
  • Photo ID required during compliance process
  • Knowledge of and experience with EPIC EMR preferred
  • Skills requirements may vary by modality and will be discussed in the interview
  • Applicant's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the home unit
  • First-time travelers will be considered
  • License required if applicable
