We are looking for a Front-end Developer to join our weather team to help us develop our online mapping and data analysis platform. You’ll be working in a small, collaborative team where you will have opportunities to make a fundamental impact on the success of the company. Must Have Qualifications

Fluent in JavaScript (React), HTML, CSS, and experience with the NodeJS ecosystem

Track record developing high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented web applications following modern responsive design paradigms

Experience integrating web applications with backend APIs (REST, OGC)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or 5+ years of relevant work experience

Experience leveraging AI agents for day-to-day development activities

Nice To Have Qualifications

Have created large, multi-user single-page applications

Familiarity with charting libraries such as SciChart, Bokeh, D3 or Highcharts

Well versed in UI / UX best practices

Experience creating and iterating on wireframes and mockups with product owners

Experience in atmospheric or oceanographic environments, mapping, and / or cartography with Leaflet, Mapbox, OpenLayers, and / or Esri web tools

Spire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work a minimum of three days per week in the office.
