job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork in an acute care setting within the general X-Ray department Department includes 4 X-ray rooms, 4 portables, and 2 fluoro rooms Typical caseload ranges from 20 to 50 studies per day Imaging performed includes portable X-rays, departmental and ED X-rays Uses GE, Siemens, and Shimadzu equipment Charting with EpicCare Inpatient EMR and McKesson PACS Shifts are Friday through Sunday, 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM, with minimal call No floating required, responsibility limited to X-ray only Key responsibilities include performing X-ray imaging studies in department and ED, as well as portable X-rays Department has a day and swing shift lead; support from other techs is available, as technologists on this shift will not be working alone Scrubs are provided Departmental orientation includes 2 hours with a manager and 2 weeks with staff training Radiologists are on site from 8 AM to 5 PM; images read off-site after hours No IV start responsibilities required Returning travelers must not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit-related facilities in the past year Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiology Technologist, acute care required Current ARRT (R) certification required Active Washington State DOH imaging license required; license required if applicable Current BLS certification required Must have COVID vaccination Experience in large, fast-paced hospital environment preferred Radiation badge is the responsibility of the traveler's employer, as facility does not provide this Experience with GE, Siemens, Shimadzu equipment, and use of Epic and McKesson PACS preferred Copy of driver's license required for consideration Two references required : one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility Candidates cannot have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
