American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of acute care experience and current ARRT (R) and WA state licensure.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an acute care setting within the general X-Ray departmentDepartment includes 4 X-ray rooms, 4 portables, and 2 fluoro roomsTypical caseload ranges from 20 to 50 studies per dayImaging performed includes portable X-rays, departmental and ED X-raysUses GE, Siemens, and Shimadzu equipmentCharting with EpicCare Inpatient EMR and McKesson PACSShifts are Friday through Sunday, 6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM, with minimal callNo floating required, responsibility limited to X-ray onlyKey responsibilities include performing X-ray imaging studies in department and ED, as well as portable X-raysDepartment has a day and swing shift lead; support from other techs is available, as technologists on this shift will not be working aloneScrubs are providedDepartmental orientation includes 2 hours with a manager and 2 weeks with staff trainingRadiologists are on site from 8 AM to 5 PM; images read off-site after hoursNo IV start responsibilities requiredReturning travelers must not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit-related facilities in the past year\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiology Technologist, acute care requiredCurrent ARRT (R) certification requiredActive Washington State DOH imaging license required; license required if applicableCurrent BLS certification requiredMust have COVID vaccinationExperience in large, fast-paced hospital environment preferredRadiation badge is the responsibility of the traveler's employer, as facility does not provide thisExperience with GE, Siemens, Shimadzu equipment, and use of Epic and McKesson PACS preferredCopy of driver's license required for considerationTwo references required : one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibilityCandidates cannot have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year\n Benefits\n
