Holt Truck Center in Wichita Falls, Texas is seeking an experienced On-Highway Truck Service Technician-Field. The incumbent for this position will provide exceptional customer service while inspecting, repairing, and providing maintenance to trucks, trailers, and attachments for On-Highway vehicles. Our address is 2401 Central Freeway East, Wichita Falls, 76302.

Essential Functions :
- Troubleshoots, diagnosis, and repairs On-Highway trucks both Cat and OEM
- Performs engine and related equipment repairs on Trucks and Trailers
- Disassembles inspects, determines parts required, and reassembles to factory specifications within TRGs
- Adheres to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations
- Provides quality control / assurance inspections of completed tasks to include road testing
- Uses computers and related software to assist in diagnosing and reprogramming engines
- Completes documentation for service reports, timecards, parts requisition, and returns
- Maintains all company equipment, tools, and vehicles in good, clean, and working order
- Interprets and utilizes information from operating, maintenance, online resources, and service manuals / bulletins
- Operates equipment and vehicles with possession of all necessary licenses and certificates
- Travels to and from the job site and travels to retrieve parts
- Listens and understands customer complaints, quotes and explains repair costs, and schedules appointments with customers while providing clear communications
- Orders parts needed to complete repairs
- Completes and files documentation necessary to justify billing
- Responds to customer needs after hours when needed
- Communicates job progress to supervisor and customer as needed
- Works overtime as required by workload and customers’ needs
- Maintains a P Factor of 100% or greater
- Maintains less than .5% rework for years of total sales
- Projects professionalism with both internal and external customers, including personal appearance
- Acts as a mentor and coach to lower level Technicians
- Completes all assigned Technician Training Path courses and safety training
- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
