Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit (04 ), and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by (03 ) percent and will receive five PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.

Under supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the Office Technician (Typing) (OT), will act as clerical support for Transactions and Benefits Services and regularly serve as a Receptionist for the Personnel Office (PO) at the California Health Care Facility (CHCF), in Stockton. The OT will use good judgement and communicate effectively. This requires detailed and sensitive contact with employees and the general public. The OT performs a variety of the most difficult clerical duties and is expected to exercise a high degree of initiative, independence, and originality performing assigned tasks for the PO.

This position reports to Human Resources (HR), which delivers innovative programs and services that attract, cultivate, and serve a diverse, highly-qualified workforce. California Correctional Health Care Services' HR professionals provide outstanding customer service, provide tools and resources for job development and advancement, and ensure fairness and accuracy in all aspects of HR.
