Housing & Neighborhood Services focuses on creating vibrant, diverse neighborhoods through the delivery of five major service areas : Community Engagement, Code Enforcement, Housing Services, CharMeck311, and the Office of Youth Opportunities. The primary duties of a Code Enforcement Inspector are conducting nuisance, housing and / or zoning inspections. The position will also attend community meetings to provide updates related to the work being conducted in neighborhoods.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent along with one year of relevant work experience.
The City's Background Check Policy requires background checks to be conducted on final internal or external candidate(s) applying for any position with the City of Charlotte.
