Responsibilities

• Weld, fabricate, rework and maintain tools, tooling, assemblies, manufacturing parts, production / experimental items and plant infrastructure of all types and materials and systems pertaining to it.
• Effectively communicate and cooperate with operations and other support functions.
• Work in conformance with local, state and federal codes and regulations, blueprints, specifications, trade practice, shop practice and verbal or written instructions.
• Maintain any licenses or certificates as required by local, state and federal codes and regulations within the geographical area, as pertains to the individual skill set performing such work.
• Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, remote overhead crane, weld condition machines, sandblasters, brake press / shears, and stress relief ovens as applicable.
• Perform work on aerial platforms, rail cars, and elevated structures and scaffolding as applicable. Training new methods and advanced technologies.
