Position Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Compliance Analyst to join the Compliance team. The Compliance Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the effectiveness and integrity of the Guardian Care Compliance Program. Reporting to the Compliance Officer, this individual will primarily assist with auditing, investigation, and regulatory update functions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and analytical professional committed to upholding our organization's high ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Auditing and Monitoring :

o Assist the Compliance Officer in executing the auditing and monitoring process of the Compliance Program.

o Support reviews of billing and coding samples and reviews of care coordination, community engagement, and other corporate documentation.

o Help conduct employee interviews and review internal and external audit results to identify potential compliance issues.

o Verify that personnel have received appropriate and timely compliance training.

o Monitor organizational activities as necessary.

  • Investigation and Response :
  • o Support the investigation process for alleged compliance issues in accordance with the Investigation and Response policy.

    o Assist in creating and maintaining detailed records of compliance matters in the Risk Tracker.

    o Help gather and review relevant documents, policies, and data to assess the scope of an issue and determine if misconduct has occurred.

    o Contribute to the preparation of final reports that summarize investigation findings and recommend corrective actions.

  • Regulatory Research and Implementation :
  • o Monitor regulatory sources, including CMS and IHCP bulletins, for updates that impact Guardian Care's operations.

    o Assist in summarizing regulatory changes and documenting key details, affected teams, and implementation deadlines in the internal RegTrack system.

    o Assist with research tasks and writing reports and memoranda.

  • General Compliance Support :
  • o Assist the Compliance Officer with maintaining organized records of compliance activities, including complaints, reviews, and training logs.

    o Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Understand and comply with Guardian Care Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality as related to client information under HIPAA regulations regarding Protected Health Information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.
  • Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Legal / Paralegal Studies, or a related field. (Required)
  • Qualifications :

  • At least two years of audit experience (preferably in healthcare).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and research skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SharePoint is a plus.
  • A foundational understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with AI platforms is a plus.
  • US work authorization (Required)
  • Must have your own computer and high-speed internet. We use MS Teams for regular video calls.

    Salary : $60,000 - $70,0000

    Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm EST
